The Yoga I offer

My classes are based on Hatha Yoga and focus on the physical practise of Asana, Pranayama and Meditation (Postures, breathing, quietening the mind). A typical group class will consist of Attention to and awareness of breath, a sequence of postures to warm the body, before exploring alignment and creating space within the joints before cooling down, relaxing and enjoying a short period of meditation.

  • Private Sessions - tailored to suit the individuals needs
  • Yoga for Sports and Athletes - A strong flowing practise aiming to assist sportspeople to build strength & flexibility, improve breathing and focus in order to help their performance or pure enjoyment in their chosen sport.
  • Yoga for Corporate - Classes designed to help offset the stresses of commuting and office-based working, along with aiming to release tension in the body created from hours sat at a desk.

What does Beginner, Open, Level 1, 2 etc mean?
Beginner describes someone who is completely new to Yoga.
Open is a class designed to suit complete beginners to highly experienced students.
Level 1/Intermediate - Students who have been practising regularly with an understanding of and ability to maintain alignment and breath.
